Nineteen developed parks around the shoreline provide campgrounds, boat launches, swim areas, and marinas. Sixty thousand acres of public land provide a variety of other opportunities.

Whether you enjoy boating, skiing, fishing, swimming, camping, picnicking, or even scuba diving Bull Shoals Lake has an activity for you.  Bull Shoals Lake, with its 19 parks and hundreds of miles of undeveloped shoreline, it offers endless recreation possibilities for those who are interested in boating, skiing, fishing, swimming, camping or even scuba diving. 


With over 45,000 surface acres of clear, blue water for  boating, skiing, fishing and relaxation.  the twenty-two boat ramps located around the lake provide ready access for all.  Many boat access ramps including those located at HWY K , Welcome Ridge, Bull Shoals, CR 15, Spring Creek, Fairview and CCC accesses are free to the public.  Other Parks require a $3 dollar day use fee  ( $30.00 dollars annual pass)  at the ramps located at Lakeview, River Run, Beaver Creek, Buck Creek, Theodosia, Oakland, Dam Site, Hwy 125, Lead Hill and Tucker Hollow.  Eleven Marinas, operated by private concessionaires, offer fuel, supplies and other services to anyone who might need them

Holding several Arkansas and Missouri state records, the With River lake’s reputation is well justified. Opportunities abound for many species, ranging from pan fish to bass to walleye and trout.

The White River, downstream of Bull Shoals Dam, is the premier trout fishery in the central United States and has yielded Arkansas state records for cutthroat and rainbow trout. Floating down the river in an Ozark jon boat and fishing for brown, brook, cutthroat, and rainbow trout is a unique experience.

Bull Shoals Lake, located in the beautiful Ozark Mountains, is popular year-round as each season unfolds a new panorama. Summer contrasts lush green hardwoods and cedar glades against towering rocky bluffs and unusual rock formations. Fall foliage presents the renowned “Flaming Fall Revue.” Bull Shoals Lake is a water sports paradise. Park areas offer modern camping conveniences around the lake.
