Mark Twain Lake’s level or normal pool level is 606 above sea level. It’s record level set back in 2008 was 640.36 ft. High lake levels can affect boat ramp access and how well the fishing is. Low lake levels on Mark Twain can make boating dangerous in certain parts of the lake when trees and islands become more shallow.
